Octave leap on "yah"
A jump to the octave asks the voice to change register in one move. Landing it lightly, then walking back down, builds a reliable connection.
How to do it
- Low note, then straight to the octave.
- Think "over" the top note, not "up" to it.
- Walk down the chord to finish.
Remember Over, not up.

"Woo" octave slides
A slide from the bottom of an octave to the top and back on "woo" passes through the register change without stopping, so the break smooths out..
"Boop" head voice
Starting at the top and coming down on a silly "boop" lets head voice lead.
Twang on "nya"
A bright, slightly nasal "nya" narrows the space just above the vocal folds.
Bratty "nay" belt
Belting is loud, speech-like singing.
