Twang on "nya"
A bright, slightly nasal "nya" narrows the space just above the vocal folds. That narrowing (twang) makes the voice louder and brighter with no extra effort.
How to do it
- Bratty, cartoon-like "nya" on each note.
- Bright first, then try the same notes on a dark "nah".
- Hear how much louder the bright one is, for the same work.
Remember Bright and bratty.
