Every interval from 1
Every interval of the major scale, measured from the tonic: a second, a third, all the way to the octave. Hearing the distance from 1 is the base of sight singing.
How to do it
- Sing "one, two", "one, three" and so on up to "one, eight".
- The chord under you never changes; hear each note against it.
- Turn the guide off and try it alone.
Remember Hear the distance before you sing it.
