Omkar: a, u, m on Sa
Omkar sadhana: "aa", then "oo", then a hum, all on Sa with the tanpura. NIOS names it with Sa and aakar as the three basic swara practices. It maps the resonance from open mouth to closed lips.
How to do it
- "aa" open and low in the body.
- Round to "oo" without changing the pitch.
- Close to "mm" and feel the buzz in the face.
Remember One pitch, three colours.
