Minor five-note scale
The same five steps, but the third is lowered. Singing it trains the ear to place the minor third exactly, a note most singers sing a little high.
How to do it
- Listen to the minor chord before you start.
- Sing up five notes on "noo".
- Lean the third slightly low in your mind; it usually drifts sharp.
Remember Hear the minor third before you sing it.
